Perlick Wine Cooler Repair Near Me in Rockwall, Dallas, TX

Rockwall is the seat of Rockwall County, which is the smallest county in Texas by land area. The city takes its name from a buried formation of stone that early settlers uncovered and read as a man-made wall. Lake Ray Hubbard, a reservoir on the East Fork of the Trinity River, forms the western edge of town, and I-30 crosses it on a long causeway that ties Rockwall to Garland and Dallas.

Much of the housing here went up during the suburban build-out of the last few decades, which means a large share of kitchens still run the appliances the builder installed. Underneath those homes is Blackland Prairie clay, a soil that swells when it is wet and shrinks hard in a dry summer. That seasonal movement can shift slabs and floors just enough to pull a washer, dryer or dishwasher off level, and a machine that is out of level wears its bearings, door seals and hinges unevenly long before anything looks wrong from the outside.
