Frigidaire Error Codes for Ovens & Fridges

Frigidaire (and Frigidaire Gallery) ranges show F-codes; fridges flash temperature alarms. Here is the rundown.

Frigidaire sits on the Electrolux platform. These are the codes we decode most often.

Frigidaire Oven Codes

  • F10: Runaway temperature — usually the sensor or relay.
  • F11: Shorted keypad.
  • F30/F31: Open or shorted temperature probe.

Frigidaire Refrigerator Alerts

  • High-temp alarm: Door left open or a defrost fault.
  • SY EF: Evaporator fan circuit fault.

Before You Call

F10 and probe faults sometimes clear after a power reset.

Fix: Cut power for a minute; if the code persists, the sensor likely needs replacing.
