Maytag washers and dryers use a code set close to Whirlpool. These are the most common.

Maytag Washer Codes

  • F5 E2: Door lock not engaging.
  • F8 E1 / Lo FL: Low water fill — check supply.
  • Sd / Sud: Excess suds.

Maytag Dryer Codes

  • PF: Power failure during the cycle.
  • L2: Low or no line voltage to the heater.
