Whirlpool spans several sub-brands but shares a code family. These are the faults we diagnose most.

Whirlpool Washer Codes

  • F21 / 5d: Long drain — clogged pump filter or hose.
  • F7 E1: Motor speed fault.
  • Sud: Too many suds — use less HE detergent.

Whirlpool Dryer Codes

  • F22 / F23: Thermistor fault.
  • PF: Power failure mid-cycle.

Whirlpool Refrigerator

  • Flashing temperature lights: Often a stuck control or a power glitch — try a reset first.
