Microwave Has No Power or Display

A completely dead microwave is usually power, the door switch, or a blown internal fuse.

When the display is blank and nothing responds, the fault is in the power path.

Check the Outlet and Breaker

Microwaves draw heavily and can trip a breaker or GFCI.

Fix: Test the outlet with another device and reset the breaker.

Door Switch Interlock

A failed interlock can cut power entirely as a safety measure.

Fix: A technician tests and replaces the switch.

Internal Line Fuse

A surge or a fault can blow the internal ceramic fuse, killing all power.

Fix: This is a guided repair — the capacitor must be discharged first.
