Let the Fridge Settle

Tilting a fridge moves compressor oil into the lines.

Fix: Stand it upright for several hours before plugging it in after a move.

Moving a front-loader without transit bolts damages the suspension.

Fix: Refit the shipping bolts before transport.

Swinging doors and loose cords get damaged in transit.

Fix: Tape doors shut and coil cords safely.
